University Education

Greece has only recently seen development in the field of University Education. Members of the Laboratory participate in the University Education Network (http://panepistimiaki-paidagogiki.gr/), an initiative by professors in higher education for the development of joint research activities and the improvement of teaching quality in higher education. The inaugural meeting of the Network was held in Alexandroupolis in September 2016, under the auspices of the Laboratory of Pedagogical and Vocational Skills for Life Scientists of the Department of Molecular Biology & Genetics of Democritus University of Thrace. There, members of the Laboratory of Pedagogical Research and Lifelong Education presented their research into this field, comprising more than twenty publications and participation in two research projects.
